WHY EXPAT ADVISING
Over ten years as an expat has exposed me to the highs and lows of expat life. An absolute low resulted in Expat Advising.

When writing a book about why I ended up in a low, researching, doing confidential interviews with companies, and from countless conversations with expats, I identified the solutions to make expatriations a success.

I am proud to see that Expat Advising´s solutions are making a difference in the expat industry and that we, with our holistic approach, are empowering expats and families, companies, and organizations to advance with expatriation.

GROWTH
At launch, Expat Advising was just me advising companies as an external consultant. Now, we are a team of experts who have developed products and services that allow us to scale and help many more companies, governments, academic institutions, expats, and their families.

SPEAKING
I am honest when I give a keynote or when invited to a panel. And whenever I do, I see nodding heads from fellow expats and people working in the expat industry. It is a conscious decision to not wrap things up in stats and numbers (depending on the specs) but to speak it like it is. Being candid is my thing.

"Kia Reimer is a highly principled and trusted advisor to her clients. She is diligent and creative. Whilst she plays strictly by the book, this does not prevent her recommendation of innovative solutions. I have dealt with other advisors previously and been frustrated by their tendency to sit on the fence. Kia gives you all the experience and presents it in a cogent and dispassionate way, which nevertheless facilitates the client making a decision without the sweat and butterflies in the stomach! Having worked with Kia from Expat Advising for some time now, I have been very impressed with her commitment to providing a genuinely superior level of customer service. She is clearly dedicated to what she does. Without hesitation, I’d happily recommend Expat advising”.
